How they work


Bogus police reports;
These people will file many reports with the police. They may even be able to come up with witnesses.
These witnesses will back down when in front of a judge to avoid being throw in jail for perjury charges.
Some charges may be filed in Guaymas.
None of these charges have ever gone to trial.
All of this is to frighten the foreigner into leaving the country.

Paying local newspapers to print bogus reports about foreigners-who just happen to be suing her.
2.Threatening phone calls;
These calls that originate from a local real estate office and verified by caller ID begin early in the mornings.
This person will also use a US cell phone with a blocked ID that reads 'PRIVATE CALLER'.
This person will leave yelling messages on answering machines about how 'good' they are and how bad you are. They will also complain about how sick they are with all the lawsuits currently against them. She says that all of the lawsuits are from people who are just envious of her.
The calls number between 3 to 13 per day.



Forcing you (frightening you) to leave the country.
Reporting a person to Immigration;
In the past they greased many immigration worker's palms.
Things are not that easy today. They will still try to get your visa or FM3 cancelled with bogus charges.
Immigration is not paying attention to these complaints any more!
This has in the past frightened many new residents to leave Mexico.
Usually anyone who is in direct competition with their business is a target.

We did not make these stories up they were as stated broadcast and published in the media. It was done and proved through investigative reporting because of a complaint and a cry for help.

These reports are true, no journalist or TV personality could make this up, and they would have been sued for defamation of character. They would have had to publish a retraction and there is no evidence that was ever done. However the evidence does show Snowbird were found guilty.

This is hardly ancient history as this report against Catalina is not quite a year old.

For presumed environmental crimes, the industrialist Catalina Ordaz de Evatt was arrested by agents of the Procuraduría General de la República (PGR) according to arrest warrant number 183/06; she was incarcerated yesterday in the Centro de Rehabilitacíon Social (Cereso) of Guaymas.

La Procuraduría Federal de Protección al Ambiente (Profepa) denounced the well-known investor because her irresponsibility in clearing 224 hectares where she would build one of her several tourist developments in San Carlos.

She destroyed endemic flora of the region; listing mesquites, Ironwood trees and ancient sahuaros. This has caused ecological damage which is irreversible, because several varieties of cactus took hundreds of years to reach their full size.

Catalina Ordaz Aguiar, owner of the company “Snowbird Realty”, that sells, rents, property deeds? and offers maintenance services to properties of tourists in Nuevo Guaymas, was apprehended at her residence in the Sector El Crestón, by agents of the Federal Agency of Investigaciones (AFI)(FBI), Thursday afternoon.

After appearing before the Agency of the Federal Public Ministry (MPF), she was taken to the Cereso, where she will continue to be incarcerated until the investigation process against her by the environmental agency concludes. According to sources, the magnitude of the damage caused and the gravity (severity) of the crime she is accused of -she would not be allowed bail.
